Hi, I’m Nathaniel, and we are Tents & Totem Studios. Tents represent adventure, and Totems stand for the stories passed down afterward. We’re a small indie animation studio dedicated to keeping traditional, hand-drawn animation alive.

Since the early 2000s, hand-drawn animation has become a dying art form, with 3D taking its place. But for years, I’ve had a passion for this craft, and my goal is to revive it through short films that tell engaging, reflective stories the whole family can enjoy.
